Liver Healing Foods for Cleansing & Repair

LIVER HEALING FOODS FOR CLEANSING & REPAIR

healthy liver

Our liver is the main organ within our whole body that's responsible for detoxification. Now think about all the foods that we ingest, including all the medicine and drugs as well as all the things that we inhale smoking, pollution, excessive sugars excessive fats refined foods that we eat every day all this causes toxins to accumulate in our liver. The problem is when those toxins accumulate, we get more free radicals that's what causes all that degenerative changes to occur within our liver and if we don't get a hold of this early enough we're going to eventually have significant liver damage. When we look at the number of carbohydrates as well as processed foods that we take in when we ingest and our liver is trying to take all of this sugar and convert it into fat and it becomes so excessive that start building up fat in the liver.
Liver metabolism has significant problems just to show us how powerful our liver is. The liver produces bile ( a yellowish liquid ) which is stored in the gallbladder. Bile helps with digestion and break down fats into the small intestine during digestion.

  1. It produces cholesterol and special proteins to carry fats through the body.
  2. It stores and releases glucose as needed.
  3. It processes hemoglobin for use of its iron content ( Liver stores iron ).
  4. It clears the blood of drugs and other harmful substances.
  5. It regulates blood clotting.

There are several liver healing foods that you need to start to your diet to help cleanse your liver, but first please help yourself, if you have bad habits of eating tons of sugar, lots of refined foods, not getting proper rest, not exercising, you need to change that first make sure you're hydrating with lots of fluids.
